Sugar Addiction Recovery: Add In Nutrition
Sugar Addiction Recovery

Day #29

Yesterday, I shared how we can start to crowd out our unhealthy eating habits and/or sugar addiction with quality time with God.  This past month, we have done a pretty good job of focusing on God first.  Continuing with this first habit, I want you to add in a second habit.  This second habit is probably one of the hardest for many people.  Add in more nutrients and by nutrients, I mean healthy, wholesome VEGETABLES.  In the month of November, I will be sharing some ideas of how I am going to ADD IN vegetables and CROWD OUT the junk.  When our bodies have an unhealthy craving, we can deconstruct that craving to find out the underlying issue.  The underlying issue can be spiritual, emotional, and/or physical.  It can also be a combination of all three!  November, we will look at all three but more specifically, we will look into the physical.

Today’s homework is to start a list of vegetables you love, can tolerate, hate, and never have tried.  If you will, share in the comments your list.  Inspire me to share about some specific vegetables.

Habit #2: Eat 5-7 servings of vegetables a day.  Every day.
